Freckle Cup I is the ideal vessel for the daily caffeine dose. Wheel-thrown using the ancient Japanese technique of neriage. Measures approximately 6 cm tall x 8 cm wide, and holds about 250 ml. Measurements may vary slightly as it is a handmade item.

 

This cup is made of two clay bodies that have been thrown together, creating that mesmerising, marble effect. In addition, both have iron particles, which after the second firing, melt and appear as brown stains. Hence the name: Freckle. Each pattern is a unique imprint in time and clay! Giving no opportunity to repeat itself. Glazed on the inside, left bare on the outside. One of a kind vessel to start your days with peace and intention.
